Before a video chat
Use a device and connection you trust. Check what is visible behind you and remove documents, addresses, workplace details, and other location clues.
Read camera and microphone permission prompts before accepting them. You can keep your own camera off until you are comfortable.
- Keep financial information and identification out of view.
- Use a neutral background when possible.
- Do not move to another service because someone pressures you to.
During a conversation
Respect and consent apply throughout every interaction. Do not pressure anyone to share personal information, private media, money, or access to an account.
End the call if someone is abusive, threatening, coercive, or ignores a boundary. You do not owe an explanation for leaving.
Privacy and recording
PeachChat does not record or replay live calls. A participant can still use an external screen or camera recording tool, so never share anything you would not want captured.
Use a unique password for any account and do not share passwords, verification codes, recovery links, payment details, or remote access.
Report and block
Use the report or block control connected to the profile or conversation when conduct violates the Community Guidelines. Include the username, approximate time, and a concise description when safe to do so.
Do not continue a harmful exchange to collect evidence. Leave first, then report through the product controls.
Adults only
PeachChat is intended for adults and may apply higher minimum-age requirements in some jurisdictions. Do not contact, sexualize, solicit, or share private content involving anyone under the applicable age.
